SERVICES

Law’s Transport Ltd ("Law’s") has an Operator's Licence for 40 vehicles. The majority of the vehicles are run out of its Sleaford depot, but there are also facilities in North Hykeham and Metheringham (which is where the office and workshop are based).

BULK HAULAGE

Law’s has a number of TASCC registered bulk tippers which transport a variety of products, including but not limited to: grain, pellets, oilseeds, beans and FTQ stone. These tippers transport products across the U.K.

In addition, Law’s has one non-TASCC registered 8 wheeler which runs locally around Lincolnshire and the surrounding counties.

GENERAL HAULAGE

The rest of the fleet is spread across a variety of customers which includes containers, fridges, curtain siders and tanks.

Law’s has worked with many of its customers for number of years forming successful partnerships

The majority of the drivers are trampers; however, there are also a few on day work.

THE TEAM

Mike started the business in September 1989 as an owner driver. He is the transport manager and has a national and international licence. He has also taught the CPC.

Mike is a black belt in karate and a keen cyclist. He cycled from London to Paris in 2017 for the Royal British Legion and is doing it again in September 2019.

Sue set up the business with Mike and passed her HGV 1 in 1990. She is in charge of the accounts and is the Company Secretary.

Sue achieved her grade 8 on the piano, and enjoys cycling and going down the gym.

Andy is a Chartered Accountant and worked in London for 10 years at Kingston Smith, Grant Thornton and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He joined the company in August 2018 to assist with the recent expansion.

Andy loves playing and watching most sports, especially football, cricket and golf, and enjoys working out in the gym.

OUR STORY

Law's is a family run business that has successfully operated articulated vehicles since 1989. Over time, it has diversified its operations and extended its expertise from refrigerated transport into bulk and general haulage.

Law's has expanded rapidly over the last 2 years and has a fleet of approximately 40 vehicles and trailers working on multiple contracts across various industries throughout the U.K.

Law's is a TASCC registered haulier moving a variety of products including grains and aggregates around the country.

Law's is diversifying its fleet and brining on board some 8 wheeler tippers and is openly looking for new business opportunities in this area.
